One of the key reasons why Chicago pursued the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games was to bring greater opportunities to the youth of our city.  It was to tap into the excitement and spirit of the Games for the benefit of our youth that World Sport Chicago was established.  The Living Legacy of Chicago 2016 will continue to work to build on the excitement an the passion of Chicago in an effort to expose kids to the benefits and opportunities active sport participation may offer.

There are several opportunities to get involved and support World Sport Chicago.  Join World Sport Chicago's volunteer team and help manage youth programs, promote Olympic and Paralympic sport, spread awareness of the Olympic values and have fun with other athletes and sport enthusiasts from around Chicago.

World Sport Chicago will continue to work toward advancing opportunities for Chicago's youth in new and creative ways. However, from day one, we've depended on the loyalty and support of our tremendous volunteers.

Every little bit helps. From short- or long-term in-office support to assistance at our festivals and major events, from program managers to venue greeters; there are opportunities for every background and level of commitment.
