World Sport Chicago partnered with Archery Education Resources, Lives on Target and the Chicago Park District in 2009 to help grow the sport of archery throughout the city of Chicago. The program was targeted to introduce city-youth to the sport while providing a safe, fun, introductory recreational archery experience and a training path for participants who chose to pursue elite or competitive level archery activities. Since then, many of Chicago’s youth and adults have been introduced to the sport and given numerous opportunities to participate in park programs, schools, and at city-wide events.
As Archery Education Resources and Lives on Target close their doors, World Sport Chicago will continue to provide archery opportunities in Chicago to past, present and new participants. In partnership with the Chicago Park District, World Sport Chicago will now offer general public classes at Pulaski Park three days per week.
Pulaski Park is located at: 1419 W. Blackhawk St., Chicago, IL 60622.
